Our Moments On My Project....

...its been quite awhile I have not updated what's going on around me...these pictures were taken two weeks ago...these are the activities we did for my project on what I am at the moment...

...the project that I am in at the moment is called the Anti-Social project...where we were told to throw a dart at this central london map and where we darted it is where me and a buddy or mine will be at that very place...so yes, got Green Park which is situated right next to the Buckingham Palace...

...here, my project is to have fun on trying to study how people sit on the bench as the bench is my thing for this project...not only how people sit...I am planning to re-design the bench for this project as well...

...so yea, the final outcome will be out sooon...=D

...and a big thank you to Dilah and her friends who came down to London for participating in becoming my models for this project...;D

....hehehe...bumped into a squirrel that was passing by around us...so I called the squirrel and it climbed onto my lap..=D

..i wished I brought nuts...

....so yea, them sitting at any position...to see how comfy they can sit on it...

...hahaha!!!! panat si Fizah ni....

...then, we applied a white cloth on it...to see how it looks like on the bench...

...we too had fun no matter what...=D

...hahaha!!!!

...and next, putting some dried autumn leaves inside the white cloth to find comfortness when sitting or lying on it...

...hehehe...we did our second break by taking some pictures..

...I then played around with the strings that I was just bringing it...and wrapped the strings around the bench...*just for fun...*

...yes, after my project sessions...we too went off from Green Park down to Piccadilly Circus...where loads of expensive shops can be found...

....My Manufacturing Class Moments

....so yea, these was the workshop I've attended....I'm taking manufacturing for this autumn term...Here, our tutor taught us about Pewter casting because when I was in year 1..some of us did not got a chance to know about it...

...the white that looks like a surfboard is called a cuttlefish...and it is 100% made from cuttlefish's skeletons...it smelled very fishy...and its for us to sculpt our stuffs onto it as it is very soft and powdery...plus!!its eco-friendly=D

....first, we have to sand the one side of it over sand-paper to get a flat surface for us to put it and tied with a wooden board once its finished molding onto it...=)

....after melting down the pewter...we then poured em' onto these readily prepared thing we put onto the sand pit...and let it cooled..

....the wires I used to wrap the cuttlefish with the wooden board together...

...the wooden boards that were being used and can re-use again...=)

...the place we melt down the solid pewter..and it is really HOT....

...and yes, this are the pewter...its solid and pretty heavy for some of it...in order to make it into liquid state...it have to be put onto a temperature of between 295-315 degrees!!now that's what I call it HOT baby~

....the saw I used to cut half of the cuttlefish to get the size I want...=)

...some of the tools to use to sculpt onto the cuttlefish...o yeah, the cuttlefish is soft...durable...eco-friendly and can be re-use again...and its heat-proof...;)

...other types of shapes that can be use to sculpt stuffs down onto the cuttlefish...=)

...once it cooled...I then removed carefully the cuttlefish and the wooden board...

...tadaaaa~its done!!!=D

...I made a lego shape...=)

...hehehe...yes, I was sooo into making it..and made another piece...yeap...i think some of you viewers might have guessed it...

.....finally, I buffed it to get that shiny look of the stuffs I've made...=)

...after doing our stuffs...we then showed and explained a bit of it within our group about any problem or anything that interests us throughout our processes in doing it....
