Claustrophobia...

For this week...we were introduce with this Italian guy talking about films and how we record to make films in sooo many possible ways :)

...we were then told to produce a short video clip about our major project for our final year...here, I produce a video in a form of stop picture motion...describing about the feeling of being claustrophobic...My theme for my final year is called Claustrophobia...where I want to explore the whole aspects of it and hopefully to design that can either 'cure' the feeling of calustrophobic..or to make the user the feeling of being claustrophobic...

...for the sound in the background...I was plucking random on my guitar...to give the feeling of being clautrophobic...Lastly, would like to say a big Thank You to My Love for being part in my project...:)

The White Binoculars...

...First of all, would like to say a big Thank You to my sister, Ken2 who has helped me out on the story...this is a project of mine where we were told to write a short story followed by an object that refers to the story that I am telling you guys...

...Above are the pictures of the object from the story...it is a white binoculars made with two baby bottles where I joined them together with a series of rubber bands and covered it with white strings to make it look like a binoculars...If You guys want to know what it is in the story...feel free to read it :)

The White Binoculars

On the east bank of the Heavenly River lived a female weaver, weaving colorful clothes for all the gods and goddesses. One day, a young man came by and asked her for help.
“I need something that helps me in seeing ghosts”, said the young man.
“Okay I'll make sure I’ll do something about it, but you will have to come back in two days”, said the weaver. So the young man went off.

With full of intoxication, the young man came back to meet the weaver after two days.
“Here's a pair of binoculars for you”, said the weaver as she gave it to the young man. The weaver said that the white strings that wraps around the unusual binocular were made to see ghosts. The weaver created a magnificent invention. With full of awe on his face, he thank the weaver and head back home. While he was walking along the road, he suddenly saw a weird figure walking towards him. He quickly pulled out his binoculars hung around his neck and looked through it. The figure was glowing abnormally.

"Who is it?" whispered the young man.
"I'm a... ghost?”
"No, you're not!", he disagreed.
“Who are you to judge me?” asked the ghost.
"Well, I'm a ghost too," he lied.
"What are you doing here?" asked the ghost.
"Nothing, just heading towards Chappa", answered the young man, holding back his fear.
"Ah.. okay." answered the ghost, invitingly.

The young man then continued his journey toward Chappa and ignored the ghost. Without knowing that the ghost is actually following him from behind, he suddenly broke the silence, "It is very tiresome to walk like this." he sighed.
The young man felt his strong heartbeat as he jerked and screamed in horror. While the ghost react the other way round.
"What about... piggy back ride by turns?” suggested the ghost.
"Oh why oh why, that is an excellent idea!", the young man agreed.
The ghost first carried the young man. "You are so heavy! Are you really a ghost?" asked the ghost with curiosity.
"I died quite recently, that must be a reason why", answered the young man calmly.
Then it was the young man's turn to carry the ghost. He was almost weightless. They went on like this repetitiously, taking turns carrying each other for several times. The young man then said, "Since I have just died, I do not know what a ghost fears."
"A ghost fears nothing but to be spat at," the ghost told him.

After a long walk, they came to a river. The young man asked the ghost to go first. So the ghost did as asked. As the ghost crossed the river, there was no noise at all. Next was the young man's turn. He made noises as the water splashes.
"Why did you make so much noise?" the ghost asked.
"I have not yet learned to cross a river quietly." he answered. "Please bear with me about that." he added.

As they were approaching Chappa, the young man put the ghost on his shoulder and held the ghost tightly. The ghost demanded in a loud voice to let go, but instead, he turned a deaf ear to it and ignored the ghost. He walked straight to the center of the town and put the ghost down on the ground and spat at it. The ghost suddenly turned itself into a goat. Without slight fear, the young man considered himself to be lucky and sold it to a farmer. His wide smile simply explains how grateful he is to earn a big amount of money just by selling a goat.
